Too often, we have seen women brought to doctors when it’s already too late, causing them to live with complications from conditions that could have been prevented. Our Story
I founded Zan Center after witnessing women in my own family suffer serious complications from conditions that could have been prevented. These complications arose largely because of gaps in essential healthcare services such as delays in getting work up done, logistical challenges in reaching clinics and hospitals and difficulties keeping appointments.
More importantly, I saw how a lack of understanding around Prevention was deeply connected to the absence of a structured, organised Primary-care based healthcare system in Pakistan.
These experiences shaped my vision: to build a Primary Healthcare system where women are supported before problems become critical. Through timely risk assessment, regular health checkups, improved Home-Based access to services and strengthened public awareness and professional education.
From hormonal balance and reproductive health to mental wellbeing and development of life skills, our goal is to support women through every stage of life with compassion, understanding and evidence-based expertise.
